You have shared the reason behind wanting to explore Milford Sound by boat, great choice! Cruising along the beautiful water would be such a treat, especially if the weather is fine. I like that you explained why you didn't want to explore by walking or helicopter, they are fair reasons. I am not too fond of heights either... What do you think would be the best part of travelling by boat?
If I had the choice I would take the helicopter (even if I don't like heights). I love seeing things from a birds eye view. Land looks like very bold patches of colour and the lined patterns in the earth are an amazing sight to see. It reminds me of when I was last travelling on an airplane looking out the window.
