Aren't Fantails beautiful birds? You're right that they eat insects. I'm not sure where you read that they also eat small fruit. I haven't found that on any of the websites that I was reading. Also, it's my understanding that they live mostly in grassland areas where they can easily catch small insects, although they're sometimes found in the forest.
I hope you're enjoying all of these activities!! And I hope you're also getting lots of fun time out in the sun on nice summer days. You only have a couple of weeks of holidays left. I bet it feels as though your summer is flying by!
