  1. Hey there Fatima, my name is Billy. I am from the Summer Learning Journey. It's good to see you've been working hard over your summer holiday break. Keep it up!

Thank you for sharing three different things tourists can do when they visit New Zealand. What do you think would be the best season for tourists to visit our country? Would it be summer, winter, spring or autumn?

I think it would be best in summer because then they can enjoy the beach and all of the beautiful nature. There are a lot of walking tracks through the bush and down to the beach that would probably only be enjoyable in summer.

What is your favourite beach in New Zealand?

    Thanks, Billy.

    You've been doing great!
I like your post about Togs or Trackies. I remember when I did this activity, I put the Skytower on my post too!
Next time I think you could add more pictures and a bit more information.
    Thx, Claire

  3. Hi Fatima,

It's Leslie here, reading your blog from Canada as a member of the Summer Learning Journey team, like Billy!

I think your 3 suggestions for places to visit in New Zealand are very good. But you haven't indicated which season you think is best for visiting your country. Hmmm.. I agree with Billy that perhaps the summer is the nicest time because it isn't as rainy as the winter is and there are lots of special activities planned. I remember visiting Auckland last January when there were concerts in the parks on Friday nights. How fun!! Walking on the beaches and in the bush was also fun because it was warm and sunny and so we could be out without coats or umbrellas.

What are your favourite summer time activities? Do you like to swim at the beach, or ride a bike in your neighbourhood? Do you enjoy going to a park for picnics?

I'll look forward to reading your answers to these questions if you choose to answer them.

Meanwhile, have a super summer day and I'll continue to read your blog.

    Cheers,

    Leslie
